The firm utilizes land use consulting experience as a member of a development team, master planning 300 acres for new mixed use neighborhoods. The master planning includes resolving environmental, traffic, social, schools, parks, public utilities, and political issues involving government agencies at all levels.
Typical survey projects include control, boundary, topographic and construction staking fieldwork. In the office the field data is processed from the raw data to work maps, topographic maps, maps of surveys and land division plats.
Farber Surveying also handles commercial and industrial construction staking. The company has a control network spanning Jackson County, which allows us the ability to establish precise positions, both horizontal and vertical, virtually anywhere in the county. This network is connected to the National Geodetic Survey network (HARN), and is expandable statewide.
Farber Surveying features field crews equipped with Trimble Robotic Total Station, a Trimble Navigation GPS Total Station and data collection systems. The office is set up with state of the art networked personal computers with ArcView (GIS), Trimble TGO (GPS) and MicroSurvey (CAD COGO) software for surveying. Farber Surveying continues to explore new and innovative procedures and techniques to satisfy our clients’ needs.
