When Farber Surveying started in January 1987 there was no big plan. I only knew that I wanted to be a surveyor and live and work in the Rogue Valley. Well that was 32 years ago so we are starting in on our 33rd year of doing business. I have lost count of the number of employees we have had. I look at old field books and at times have a hard time remembering who the initials belonged to. It has been an amazing ride with many ups and downs along the way. We have surveyed miles of forest boundaries and built many neighborhoods of varying sizes along with many property boundary surveys in southwest Oregon.
In August of this year I retired my license as a professional land surveyor and water rights examiner. It is time to pass the torch on the younger generations. This passing as well as all things in life are a work in progress. I will remain with the company until they plant me or I am no longer needed. While I no longer hold a license we are fortunate to have Rick Stein take on the professional duties for Farber Surveying.
I am grateful to all of you who have been along on this ride, you are truly amazing!
